I've been bragging about being GAS-free for a couple years. Even survived a couple scares, like when IotaNet offered up his gorgeous StingRay 5 and when JeremyR listed his CallowHills <gasp>
But this time I will succumb to GAS.....and someone on this board might be in a position to benefit.
Played through a MarkBass CMD 102P with a Traveler 102P extension cab. I swooned. Then I lifted it. The whole set. The combined set was lighter than either of my SWR Triad cabinets. I WILL OWN THAT SET I NOW OWN THIS SET.
So now, I will be selling two SWR Goliath Jr 2X10 cabs, two SWR Triad cabs (1-15, 1-10, and a tweeter in each), a Crown Xs500 power amp, an Alembic F-1X preamp, and a MarkBass F1 amp.
Everything but the F-1X and the MarkBass F1 will have to be local sales (within 75 miles of Detroit) 'cause the cost to ship will probably be more than I'll be asking for the cabinets or the Crown.
I think I'll be listing the cabs on Craigslist for $175 each, buyer's choice. All are 4 ohm cabs. One of the Goliath Jrs has a cover. First 2X10 buyer gets it. One Triad has casters. I'll also offer the Crown for $175. The F-1X will need to go for $275 and the F1 for $375.
Everything is gone except the Triads. Love it when a plan comes together.
