Out of curiosity, do you happen to have access to his career ypc numbers?  That means more to me than some of those other stats, since in ATL, he split carries with Vick, Duckett (when he was there), and that new kid.  In TB, he deferred all the TD goal line runs to Alstott.  He was also an asset, out of the backfield, receiving.  Now, I'm not saying that his best days are not behind him.  I just can't agree with the fact that he was "done" based upon what he worked with last year.  I don't think that is a fair measuring stick.

I feel you. His career ypc is 4.1. In the last three years, it was 3.4; 4.0; 5.1 going backwards from last season.

In his final season in TB he averaged 2.8 ypc.

speaking of dunn he actually hit the 10,000 yard rushing mark so thats good right?? wherever he goes he wont be the starter but he will get playing time i dont think hes done yet sometimes when a player change teams they play better or it rejuvenate them or something.
if the cowboys dont get mcfadden maybe they should consider dunn to go along with our favorite barbera

I don't want to see the Cowboys get McFadden (too many off the field problems for my taste; reminds me of Pacman Jones ).

yea a corner and a safety maybe they should try to get lito from the eagles but you are right about mcfadden we dont want another pacman it will be a huge distraction and maybe t.o. will lay him out

Man I can't believe that Marion Barber is leaving the Cowboys.....Lawd Jesus Have Mercy!!!! I hope that they don't get Darren McFadden but somehow I believe that's exactly what Jerry Jones is going to do. I also agree Sjon, that the Cowboys need a better CB...but who can they get now that Asante Samuel is gone.

Barber isn't going anywhere. The 'Boys paid him the maximum tender offer. For teams to really try and get Barber, they'd have to pay a pretty penny (and/or give up their 1st and 3rd round draft picks).

Man........if dallas gives up barber.............ill cry lol but for real...........we should just get mendenhall from illinois.  barber is not an absolute #1, not even in college(insert Laurence Maroney)..meaning that he is MUCH more effective with another back of his caliber.  Dallas needs help at a lot of spots so they are gonna have to pick and choose what they do

With the passing game that Dallas possesses, Barber won't need to do more than he did last year. I mean, really, look at JJ's numbers from last season, he didn't do much of anything. It was all Barber.

I can see him doing that again, next season.

Dallas' biggest concern should be there defensive backfield and the lack of depth. Why A. Samuel isn't in a Dallas uniform is beyond my understanding as a football enthusiast.
