pacman is a COWBOY yyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :o

As a Cowboy fan, I'm not sure if I like this move.  When he did play for the Titans, weren't they like ranked 30th in defense?  And when he wasn't there, they were actually better?

I know the Dallas has had some shady folks in the pass but at the same time, they have proven for years and years that they were the best at what they do.  I guess we shall wait and see.

Bruh, one man does not a team defense make. In his two NFL seasons, Pacman played in 30 gms with 115 tkls (94 solo), 18 pass deflections and 4 picks (one returned for a TD). As a returner, Pacman was FIYAH!! 63 PR for 712 yds and 4 TDs.

If that boy can stay OUT of trouble AND hasn't lost his natural football instincts, I'm liking this move, big time.  ;)

I know doubting what you are saying.  All I am saying is typically, in one year, if a team losses its best defensive player, they don't go from 32nd to 5th in defense.

Was he the only change made to the defense? The defensive scheme may have changed; they may develop more playmakers on the defensive side of the ball.

Are there other factors?

I wanna believe that concerning Pacman's renewed attitude toward football. I'm not quite convinced, just yet.

I think the Titans have made a mistake with letting him go.  But I think that Pacman losing over $3 million dollars over the last year has gotten his attention.  It's more of a public relations move for the Titans because the local Nashville media has taken him through the wringer.  Things as minor as his being pulled over in his Lamborghini for speeding was at the top of the news and in the paper.  Of course it was found that he had the wrong tags on his car, but that was resolved by simply paying a fine.  But it was all over the news for a few days.  It was ridiculous.  How many people get pulled over for speeding and it makes the front page of the newspaper?  And now that this Las Vegas issue has taken a different turn, no one is being apologetic for the slanderous things they have said about him.  Yes, he put himself in certain situations that he should have been a little more discerning about, but he came into the league with a shadow over his head.  But he is not the first, nor the last professional athlete to get into trouble for something.

As far as his on-field abilites, he was an excellent player.  He made plays and guarded his man very well.  he was a tackler, and a fierce competitor.  As a player, I liked him.  I liked him a lot.  We'll see who he is replaced by and that will show whether or not this was a good move.  Amybe a chane of scenery will be good for him.  Terrell Owens will keep him on the straight and narrow.

Well, being retired, at least he won't be subject to the "Madden jinx".

Troy Smith showed that he could play with the big boys, so I think he deserves a shot.  Of course, being a Steeler fan, I kinda hope any and every Ravens QB crashes and burns.  lol
