1. Where's the lengthy blurb?

2. What's the title and author of the book?

3. When did she "endorse" this book?

4. Who is this preacher with the glass house?

5. Where's the link to this preacher's endorsement?

This thread sure leaves me with a lot of questions...  :-\ ?/?

Amen....

however, I realize the great influence Oprach has on people, but when it comes to Christ, what Oprah says don't mean nothing to me. She doesn't seem to really KNOW Him!

Everytime I hear that woman try to speak on religion, she is soooo far off base it is rediculous. I don't even watch her show anymore.

Well, on Judgement day, we have to take a stance on a single god, and if we dont, we will lose all of our support

I seen an interview last year of her former pastor.  He said Oprah was okay "in his opinion" until she started cashing in immensely from her career.  He said that the richer she became the less he would see her, until now he don't see her at all.  "It's one thing to give ten percent of you income to the church.  Many people would reconsider their walk and belief when their ten percent start climbing into the millions..."

Do you think there's a posibility that she's saved and just says what she says on the show to keep her advertisers happy?  I don't watch Oprah but I'm just saying that she's running a business and may not be expressing her personal beliefs.

Whatever the reason, she's not taking a stand. I heard her say that there are many ways to heaven. Uh, Oprah, Jesus is the only way!!! If she not taking a stand to appease people, then she is still doing that---not taking a stand---thusly, denying Christ.  What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?

I agree with you but I think talk show people and politicians should either not have a public stance on religion or deal with the possible consequence of taking a stance.

Oprah is just confused. I know there is a Bible verse that talks about all these talk show hosts, something along the lines of them talking much but understanding little. This is what i see in these talk show hosts, they see so much, hear so much that they become somewhat distant from what is going on in front of their very eyes.

I mean, look at Larry King. This guy has interviewed pastors, preachers, you name it. He even interviewed Tammy Faye before she passed away. That interview made me cry and gave me cause to rethink my priorities. Oprah herself has interviewed and talked to so many people who have gone through remarkable trials and come out thanking God and all she usually does is sigh and nod her head and announce the next guest on the show.

Someone needs to start praying for these talk show hosts. They have become dull and used to seeing so much that it does not touch them.
The car, job, house wife/husband are not the reward, God is.
