The only indication that I can think of is when there's someone I know isn't very well spoken but they pray in such a way that you know they are depending on God to give them the words. Some folks are professional prayers. I guess that doesn't mean God hears them any differently, but I'm more moved by a prayer that isn't all perfect sounding.
WORD!!!!!
I never forget....
I was about 11yrs old.
I was in VBS, and they gave an example.
Two people were praying....
One person used the big words....
and all the fancy sayings that folks use in their prayer.
and the other person
didn't use any big words...or fancy sayings.
they stumbled over their words a lil bit...
But they were humbled, just to be able to
have the privelidge to pray to God....
And they kept thanking God for everything....
and everytime they asked God for something...
they started it with ....
Lord if its ok with you, I'd really like.....
And I was soooo moved by that example.
Because I was talking to my homie...
and he gets nervous when he has to pray in church....
Because he doesn't say the things that others say....
But his prayers are so sincere...
and he prays with such an humble spirit.
There's nothing like a prayer from the heart.
More so than a prayer from someone that throws
out all the cool slick lines that we are used to hearing.
I'm not against all those sayings...
Don't stone me....

But humility is essential.
