SMASHED FINGERS

I smashed two fingers at work,it have been a week,I STILL CAN NOT PLAY THE GUITAR.OUCH >:( >:( >:( >:(

I feel your pain bro-ham. a couple weeks ago I picked up a freshly welded piece-o-metal, that was still hot.....

good thing it wasn't me fretting hand.

I pray for a speedy recovery, so you can smoke prince and get him to the other side  :D :D

I know it sounds a bit crazy to most, um, "regular" folk (i.e. non-musicians), but this is the reason I'm not an automotive technician today.

I was in my apprenticeship, and I made the comment that if I ever lost a finger, I would flip out, and the response to me was "then you're in the wrong business."

Within the month I had contacted my program director, and withdrew from classes before they started lol.

In hindsight, I should have stuck it out. I would have been alright.

I feel your pain and frustrations.
My son, "Mr. Good-Wrench", got two fingers smashed while hooking up a baggage trailer at work. Thank God he did not loose any fingers. Workman’s Comp covered everything plus the physical therapy to get his finger back to normal.

I'm praying for a quick recovery...practice the "Air Guitar" until you're physically ready to squeeze that neck.

Besides look at the bright side, on that hand you have two good fingers and a thumb remaining... ;)

    Sorry to hear that, hope your fingers get well soon.
 I know I lift very heavy weights in the gym, so I always try and watch my hands, but accidents can happen anywhere.
