By the way, what I tend to do myself is post the items that drop my jaw (and 8 times out of 10, those are what you might consider "bad" news).  Good news just doesn't drop the jaw as much, but this did...

Last night, I saw this on the news and couldn't wait to share it.  Of course, I forgot about it until just now.... lol.

A lady somewhere in Maryland (didn't catch the name of the county) was having a hard time selling her house... guess what homegirl did????  (I mean, this truly dropped my jaw).

She sold raffle tickets for $100.  Yes, $100.00!!!!  If you were the lucky ticketholder, you just bought a HUGE and beautiful house for $100.00.  The buyer wins, the seller wins... it's a win/win situation!!!  Oh, and she sold 500 tickets, BTW.

I'm gonna peruse some local news and see if I can find an article on it.

You turn on the news on at 6pm...

And the anchors and say...

Uhh...Umm???
*both anchors looking baffled at one another*

Well folks...
We have nothing to report....
Nothing happened today.

Ohh wait!!!
This just in...
There are some kids playing
a pick up game of Basketball
at a local playground...
The score is 14-12.

Ummm.... well, I've got a big ole " :-\" on my face because I'm trying to figure out why that article is dated December 2007 and ABC news just reported it last night??? LOL!!!  Did they really run out of news like THAT???
