I'm thinking about getting the Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0. Did you check those out too?

the shuttle was actaully #1 on my list, but I didn't have easy access to demo one.  Plus the shape of it is a little odd, so it wouldn't fit in my gig bag (which is a big one for me as lugging around equipment isn't cool anymore at all).

I was going to have them order a shuttle for me so I could come back and test it, but I was so blown away by the F1 that i just went with it.

i was thinkin about one of those. i might could willingly part with the extra dollars, but i still would have issue with transporting my cab (no car) so it probably wouldnt help much at the moment.

nice purchase though.

yeah, I sold my aguilar GS410 and bought an Avatar Neo410.

I can now literally carry everything and not struggle at all.  I can lug the avatar cab around with 1 arm..lol and now my amp is in the gig back on my back.  It's a GREAT FEELING!!!

I was SOOO tempted to trade my GK 1001RB-II for one of those.  Still might.  You're not making it easier for me, man!  I tried that in GC... I hate Markbass heads on Markbass cabs, but when I put it on an Ampeg 410 it was butter.

I love my GK, but it's not the lightest thing in the world.  Like you said, the F1 fits easily in a gig back (or even in my hardshell case) and makes things so much easier.

Let me know how it works on the Avatar, I have the same cab.  If it's gravy, I might give it another look.

you actually lug your 410 around? i have the same cab and although its not really heavy im in NY so haulin a cab around (not just takin it to and from the car) makes me feel like a sittin target waitin to get jacked (and not "Monster Cable plugging up into a system 'jacked'"). also every church isnt some big cathedral with gaping wide aisles, some churches have narrow entrances and hallways or narrow aisles that make maneuvering a 410 into the church an unpleasant chore. i just tote around my Ampeg PortaBass 228, but if my church choir actually really start going out like we used to years ago i might get a 210 and check out that F1.

let us know how it sounds

Nice pick up!  I'm toying around with the idea myself.  My local GC carries Markbass and is offering me 15 months no payments / no interest on purchases over $500.  I LOVE the size of the F1, but I really want the dual inputs of the LMK.  The only thing that kept me from walking out the door with the LMK is that it only has 1 Speakon connection.  That would be okay for gigs where I take 2 basses and 1 cabinet, but it wouldn't work for gigs where I want to run an Alembic in stereo mode with each pick up EQ'd differently AND going to different speakers.  I very rarely do that, but......

Anyway, again, I think you made an excellent purchase there.

Peace,

James

It's the 410 cut in half, LOL!  Really though, that's what it seems like in most aspects.  It's great, and at 500W can handle as much power as you'll ever need out of a 210.

Sounds like the three of us all have the same alibi for Saturday.
