TO THOSE WHO CARE TO HELP:

Mama just called from Texas.  She and my stepfather have talked AGAIN about fronting the money for a graphic design business (boy have we been THERE at least six times that I can remember).

However, my stepfather's concern remains..."Herman is so multi-talented that if we invest this money into the graphic design thing, he won't stick to it.  Tomorrow he'll be back into plays; next week he'll be trying to finish the CD again".

Unfortunately, HE WAS RIGHT!!!  Not bragging, but having mutiple gifts is a curse as well as a blessing (in a sense) because it's hard to focus on JUST ONE!

I don't want to let him down (IF it's really going to happen this time), but this has been his concern since "five similar promises ago".

Do I let the other dreams DIE to achieve this one?  Hmmmm....

well herman i have the same problem. You can write, you are a musician, blah blah blah... you enjoy doing all of them. The weird thing is it is also your down fall at times. If you focus on 1 project and stick to it and finish it you then could do the other later. Open up the graphics thing and when it is up and running well. Then work on the next thing as hobbies.... it is hard you will have to choose what you can live with as your main focus and what you can place on the back burner....
