I got turned on to him when Byron Cage's "I Will Bless The Lord" hit the radio waves and a friend of mine told me Isaiah D. Thomas & EOP recorded it previously.

I've never heard him live so all I can go by or his releases. His latest one, "The Greatest" isn't really doing much for me like his other two albums I have (Pray Everything Will Be Alright and Isaiah D. Thomas & EOP LIVE!). I'll try to give it another spin, because it may be just me (for some reasons I haven't been feeling alot of releases, recent or past) lately).

I have New Samaritan's album "Masterpeace" that features Mr. Thomas.  I primarily bought the album for the song "Run and Tell That," which he does lead on, along with Bishop Michael V. Kelsey.  The album as a whole is really good too, in my opinion.
