I don't know if you all watched the videos, but Drummerworld highligited the part in the GC video that he talks about the Gearld Heyward lick and said "this is a lick that you should throw away".  This is something that Thomas was making fun of and saying it should be done away with, but they highlighted it and slowed it down. 

Comedy.

Another thing I noticed is that Thomas never played the silver sparkle kit on the SSV1 vid.  I am assuming that is his set up because it is pretty close to the one that he is using with TMV.  I would like to see more of that stuff. 

Maybe if he played with some clothes on we could have gotten some of that stuff on SSV1.  :-\

Well well well...waddayaknow? I can't say that I didn't know this was coming. However, it is still just as sweet to see it. We've been pushing for this for a while now. I like that about Bernhard. He moves when he gets good and ready. He doesn't care who you are...

LGM, there are some strange happenings in the business world right now and if my $.02 counts for anything with you, I ask that you continue to support this cat. He's doing some unprecedented things right now and many industry forces that have once denied him shall now be forced to reconsider. I ask that you continue to keep him lifted as you pray.

I am very proud of Thomas.  I remember back in the day when he was just learning how to play the drums.  He was very, very shy.  You wouldn't think that now!  Can you believe that people were hating on him when he was playing the bongos for Northern Cal (those of you from the bay area know what I am talking about).  I also give him props for mentioning his grandmother.  She was and still is a major influence to him.

Thomas is still hated on... but that is due to the crab mentality of US;) His story is filled with historical firsts and in 2008, more history will be made. 24 year old black man on the cover of DRUM! magazine? That's history... and the best is yet to come...

What up fam and congrats Thomas! Hey, are there any other clips that anybody has or knows about of him because this was my first time seeing him (i've always heard about him) and i guess these clips didn't really give the props I keep hearing about (to me at least  :)), but i'm sure from what i've heard he is a great drummer!
