kinda new to the bass. any one know any if not all patterns for congregational songs 
not all songs follow the same pattern.
What I did to brush on on congregational songs was pick up the following CD:
Bishop G.E. Patter "Singing the old time way".
Working out to that Cd and using your ears will give you 99% of the patterns in congregational songs. It'll also help you work on hearing the changes in the progression. I think everyone should own that dual disc CD.
