Well sis...I'm not sure if I'm touching on your point...
But I still think forgiveness that is between you and God.
At that point I think its a matter of us asking God
to give us the stregnth to forgive and forget.
After we go to that person, and explain our problem.
If they continue...Now its a matter of us
asking God to stregnthen us to forgive.
And now its up to them to come to us and apologize...
Because we explained to them already how they hurt us.
Am I following you correctly??
Yeah, I think so... lol.

I also agree that forgiveness is between you and God.
I guess I can simplify what I was saying to make it clear:
It is my opinion that if a person offends you again after you've already told them their behavior is offensive to them, that doesn't give you free license to just walk away from them. You have to be sure, for your OWN soul's salvation, that you've forgiven them. Once you've forgiven them, I don't think there's anything wrong with dismissing them from your life and moving on. Some people won't ever change their ways, some people won't even see anything wrong with their ways. Proverbs tells us there is a way that seemeth right to a man, but the end thereof is the way of death. No point in giving folks like that a hundred chances to hurt your feelings or piss you off...

What I'm saying is that you have to make sure you forgive them before you dismiss them.
Sometimes, it's easier to find forgiveness after giving the person an opportunity to explain themselves, or apologize or state their case or whatever. Sometimes, that isn't prudent and you just have to find a way to forgive them without ever confronting them.
You got me?
