More stuff available for sale (2 preamps, a power amp)

I have 2 Alembic F-1X preamps available for sale.  I'd take $400 plus shipping for each of them.  PRICE FIRM, NO TRADES CONSIDERED.
UPDATE: Both F-1X preamps have been sold and paid for.  The Crown power amp is still available.

I also have a Crown Xs500 power amp for sale.  $375. PRICE FIRM, NO TRADES CONSIDERED.

Buy the Crown and one of the F-1X preamps together and I'll go $725 plus shipping for the set. Since both F-1Xs are now gone, this arrangement is no longer available.

All pieces shipped w/o rack.  Will consider offers for the 6 space rack, but the 2 and the 4 are staying put.

One of the F-1X preamps has had the XLR moved to the back.  Makes for a very clean appearance when going from preamp to the board.  Cable connects through back of the rack.



Only the F-1X and the Crown Xs500 are up for sale.  All the rest of the stuff in this rack stays put.  At least for now.

On the F-1X in the above picture, you can see how the XLR attaches from the front of the preamp.  That's the normal configuration.

The crappy photo below shows both F-1X units.  The one on the top is the one with the displaced XLR.

Yeah, I posted here, TB, and the Alembic Club.  One F-1X is already gone.

Moving on to different, not necessarily better.  But definitely good enough to meet my needs.  I sold off my G-K stuff when I got the Markbass F1.  Now I'm looking at unloading various pieces of gear that I don't use or don't need.  I LOVE the F-1X / Crown set up, but fact of the matter is, it's a bear to transport.  I don't play any big venue gigs at this time.  One small church and one medium sized church.  The Markbass handles both with ease. 

In my "heyday" I would take the F-1X units and the Crown amp and two or more cabinets and one or both of my Alembic basses and run one pickup from each bass through one F-1X and the other pickup through the other F-1X and then out to separate SWR cabinets.  Then I would EQ each F-1X differently.  Talk about wretched excess.  I did this because I could, not because the music or the gig called for it.  I don't see myself using that setup again, so definitely at least 1 F-1X can go (already sold one).  I'm holding my pricing firm, because, fact of the matter, if the second one doesn't sell, I'll use it occasionally.  If it sells, I get along fine without it.
