Emotions

How would you define emotional maturity?

How would you teach someone to be emotional mature?

Emotional maturity is one's ability to deal with all that life has to offer in a productive way.

How do you teach it? You can model it; especially for children. You can show them (and people) how you deal with situations (love, bills, sickness, death, etc.).

I would guess that it means that a person has learned not to act on emotions, but act on things after reasoning the consequences.

Hmmm, not bad; not bad, at all. This goes under, "Be angry, but sin not" to me.

So.... if you were having lunch at your favorite restaurant and two people sitting at a table behind you were gossiping.  Matter of fact they were slaughtering someone you knew what would you do?

Depends on my relationship with them and if what they're saying is true. While, yes, we shouldn't gossip at the end of the day each one of us is responsible for our own soul's salvation and walk with God.

I may just move my seat and pray for them. BTJM.

slaughtering? or Slandering? If they were slaughtering someone I knew then I might try to save thier life, If they were slandering her name, I'd probaly just mind my own business.
