Thanks for the encouraging words guys.

I can't get my true tone since I'm recording without a DI and I can't turn up to loud before the neighbors complain...LOL.

I just uploaded another video, so check the first post for the link.

jeremy, how do you record directly to your pc?  What software, cables, etc., do you need?  If there is already a thread let me know and I will do a search.

actaully with my current setup I can't.

If you had an M-box I would suppose recording straight to the pc wouldn't be hard, however it would be a few more steps to compose the video and audio together.

What I do is just setup my camera and just turn up my tascam bass trainer with the bass cut and play through the amp and cab.  It seems to do an OK job of capturing the sound, but you definitely aren't hearing my true tone from the cam.

Like the video tell it sounds pretty hollow to me as to how I sound live.

I'm afraid I don't know what an M-box is.  Also, I am only interested in audio recording, to build a clip library of songs, etc., that I have finally learned to play.

An M-Box is just an audio interface for your PC.  Gives you multiple inputs and outputs for instruments, mics, and line outs.  I have an M-Audio Firewire 410 and it works quite well with more inputs and outputs that I'll ever need.

Thanks. :)  I hate to ask, but are there less expensive alternatives?

http://www.guitarcenter.com/M-Audio-MobilePre-USB--No-Software--102212776-i1154077.gc

also go to guitarcenter.com and go to recording -> audio interfaces and you'll see many different options.
