How Many Of You Can Play A One-Hand Drum Roll?

Is there anybody in here that knows how to play a fairly clean "one handed" drum roll?

(note): Not that it makes you any better or worse a drummer. lol

But it IS intriguing to observe. 8)

When you first hear about someone who can play a one-handed roll, you tend to think it's not physically possible - until you see it! lol 8)

Hey, I can do a one handed drum roll, while, playing guitar behind my back.................ok so I don't play drums.............but I love you guys..............keep up the drums, I may need a drummer if my guy retires soon.

Very interesting!

However, i can roll my socks up with one hand, and pick my toes with my guitar while sitting at my drums!

Practice makes perfect. 8)

I can do it two different ways, one with the push/pull technique, the other with the rim of the drum (freehand technique). Not to show off or anything but hopefully these videos of mine will help some folks be able to do it too!

I think it's true that you can have some people who have the "prettiest" most even sounding rolls, but ain't all that great a drummer. On the other hand, you can have a guy who's rolls are not the best, but can find that fonky joint!!

It's good to have both if you can. 8)

And lastly, some women make the best rolls you ever tasted in yo LIFE!!

I can! Just keep practising and don't stress over it! There's 1000 more practical things that you might need to learn.
