Omar's solo is what did it for me Big foot! His solo in within the structure of the song. He's the reason why 6/8 is my favorite time signature to solo and flow too. Classic man!!! All the young brothers in the room need to hit this thread and learn from it.

That's why I posted it. Players like him have what a lot of young cats aren't having these days, and that is longevity. He may not be a mainstream "superstar," but he is still working after all of these years, and that is what's most important. It was a
musical solo, not a
chops demonstration. He was given the spotlight, instead of stealing it like some cats do.
