OK why is this argument in the Organ room? Last time i checked, organs don't have a transpose button so why bring it up here?

I am heading over to the drum room. I bet that's the only forum that won't have this argument.  ;D

my reply is to the whole subject.  Yall guys come down hard on those musicians who are not as gifted and don't really have the time or resources to sit down and learn all 12 keys.  My point is, why does that topic matter on this site.  If you can help someone then help them.  If you can encourage then encourage but yall go hard and put people down.  That's my whole tude about every thing.  I do apologize for the attitude.

Hmmmmm Just thought of something......

I am with all the Anti-Tranposers but this is how you CAN use The transpose as a great practice tool.

Want to challenge your mind a little try this on a song you know like the back of your hand.
Go ahead and transpose your keyboard up or down a couple of notes.

Now play the CD/MP3 of the song and play along with the song.  This is a different form of ear training but it  will force you play the song in different keys.  Expand your mind discover new things about a song and patterns.

This would def help when learning the Devotion songs.  You know them Deacons love to Start in Crack Flat. Then again nothing can help them :D.

After you've went through a song a couple of times in the new keys.  Transpose it back to the original Key and play the song in the new key.

Again DO THIS IN YOUR PRACTICE TIME. :D
