A Lil' Encouragement
« on: June 19, 2008, 09:08:51 AM »
WUSSSUP Guys!!! ;D ;D
Just a little encouragement!

I was listening to Tye and GA's song Chasing After You and it really ministered to me. So many times we forget that our main priority should be chasing after God and seeking a deeper and more intimate relationship with HIM. I've found myself being caught up in my passion, playing the drums, so much that I lost sight of the one who gave me the gift in the first place. Our gifts are nothing more than an avenue to personal worship with God and leading others to Him. So I encourage you to seek a deeper relationship with Jesus.

God bless!!

Definitely second that!  I have been talking about this with my bandmates too.  We all fall short alot of times and don't even realize it.  I pray that all of us constantly stay running after GOD so he can do unimaginable things in our lives.  Things we couldn't even fathom.

Good to see this kind of topic...
One of my favorite books is God Chasers by Tommy Tenney
I've read it about 8 times and given it away to so many people...

It's a really great book... haven't heard Tye's new song or album so I can't say that the song shares the same ideas as the book but the book is awesome...
Tommy Tenney is a great author and I love his other bookFinding Favor With The King, too

Yeah "chasing after you" and "well done" are two of the last songs on the album and they're both sick.  The choir killed "well done" towards the end.  Good topic.

Yeah! My wife bought me the new Tye album as a present about 3 weeks ago (Miraculously it came to NZ). Its the only thing playing in my car at the moment.

"Chasing after you" AND "Well Done" ministers on so many different levels. Great songs!
