This sounds like fun.. I'm in... I've just downloaded the PDF so I'll get to a keyboard and see how I'd voice the LH for this song.

Keep up the good work Wolfram!!!!

Ok --->  First Master's Class Assignment...  Let's compare the way we would voice this piece.  Keep the  chords to those written here (you may vary the extension for coloration but don't add or subtract anything.)  This way we can have a good way of seeing how we all think about left hand comping...  Have fun:

Question for Clarification Wolfram:

So we CAN change the extentions or alterations.. like make that Fmaj7 a Fmaj9 or change a G7 to G7alt we just CAN'T change the chord altogether like changing that D7b9 to some kind of Ab7 via tritone sub., right?

This being our first group activity...  Let's stick to keeping the chords as written, no modifications.  This way we are all on the same level playing field.  Once we have that start, we will see where things take us.

Wow, this is great.
I've never played jazz before,& don't know A Foggy Day either.
But I will attempt this..

So when is everyone submitting-? I see this has been up for some time now..
I really want to use this to break into jazz..(pity I'll be slowing down the masters Embarrassed)
