My parents named me Nikao (pronounced NEE KAY O if you were wondering LOL!) which means "victorious overcomer", because they did want me to make the mistakes that they had made in life. knowing this has influenced some of the decisions I've made.

In the Bible names often ended with the suffix "el", as in Michael, Daniel, Samuel, Rachel... the "el" part referring to God(Example "ELohim" El Shaddai)... And they often began with "Jo" (shortened form of Jeho, or Jehovah) as in Jonathan, Joshua, John, Joab... Chances are, if you're name has the "el" suffix, then it is probably either Biblical or inspired by the Bible.

For the longest time, i've wondered what the suffix "isha" meant or where the prefixes "La" as in LaShay or LaNita and "De" as in DeAndre came from... does it have meaning or is it just cute?
