Eric Moore is a super jerk! I don't care if I'm not on "your level" of playing but honestly what you've been doing on here proves that you ain't really humble or a dude tryin to help anybody out. BBD aka Curtis Bernard is actually a dude tryin to help people out! Heck, He's always replied to my emails, given me excellent advice via phone, gave me instructional videos to learn from (Rick Latham's Advance Funk Studies and Steve Smith's History of the U.S. Beat/Drum set Technique). Eric you are Arrogant and Super cocky! Excellent qualities for a child of the KING to possess!
Thanks man but one thing, never say that you are not at his level, you can be and you will be in Jesus name and practise!!! EVERYONE has it in them to be at that level!!! Its funny to me when guys like Eric just assume that no one else in here can play like that! I can but why do I have to! To impress other drummers? Heck NO! There is too much of that in gospel drumming and not enough musicality.....I used to be an Eric Moore and found myself
not getting the kind of gigs and recording sessions I wanted, now that Im the boss people just automatically assume that I want to hire drummers (when Im on bass) who play the way I use to in the 90's and my response is "I don't even play drums like I use to in the 90's!" I want drummers who can hold it down solid, fills are musical and on time and if they can flash musically and NOT get in every one's way that's just bonus!!!!
I can say that through out the years God has shown me is "Pride does come before a fall, and people who feel they can act like Eric Moore need to heed that warning!!! I had to fall to learn and the things I try to teach in posts are only because I believe in and love you guys and don't want to see you have to hit rock bottom to learn a lessons like I did....Its easy to puff myself up, boast about all my endorsements, who Ive played for and what Im doing now but how will that help any of you and even what does that do for me, nothing!!!!
Eric Moore in my opinion brought shame to the very people who helped give him status amongst other gospel drummers and that's Gospel Chops and LGM... These two sites have helped the career of so many, opened a door to learning that most use to only dream about, yes they put out products to make some money BUT they are both publicly free!!! Eric only abused what these sites stand for by his ignorant actions!!!!
Ive been in the game long enough to have really thick skin so Eric does not bother me BUT, suppose I had low self-esteem and struggling what he did would have crushed me, that's why I say that he brought shame to Gospel Chops and LGM by his actions.... We raze each other in here and I get just as much as I dish out and you have to admit sometimes the drama makes it a good read, but there's a line where it gets into abuse! For me I can care less what Eric says about me again just because I don't post videos of me shedding and showing off does not mean I cant!!! And trust me Eric ain't doin nothing that guys like me, dude on drums, stixinmypocket (i don't know if I spelt his right LOL) and a whole lot of really truly humble people in LGM cant do!!!!
