My friend is a dummer and she wants to get into the electric guitar. She's found someone who's willing to sell her the guitar and an amp for $100 total.
She said she hasn't seen the guitar yet, the guy who has it says that he's moving on to another instrument, and the guitar has no strings on it.
IMO, that's weird. I told her to check out the equiptment to make sure it's alright and that new strings is all it needs. People can do what they want to do with their instruments, but just because you move on to another instrument why would you sell your previous instrument? What if you want to go back to it? Idk. We didn't get into all that. No strings? The heck happened to the strings!?
Anyway, based on this little bit of information does it seem like a good buy? It's her first guitar and she asked me for my input because I've been playing for about a while now. Still, we're both novices in the guitar buying dept. (My parent bought me my first, and current, guitar and the only input I gave was "I want it to be blue!" Lol! They took the guy at the store's opinion when buying my guitar.)
