So, some questions:

1. Do you think they continue with the Two-Face storyline (because I don't believe for one second that he's dead)?

2. If not, who's the next villain? I vote for The Riddler. I want to see them use more of The Dark Knight's detective skills. ;)

3. If so, do they add a side villain, say Catwoman?

4. I want to ask TJ just how far they strayed from the original Two-Face storyline (outside of the "love triangle" between Wayne and Dent). I always thought Wayne and Dent were best buddies.

That's what I thought; and that could've worked in the movie, as well, I think.  :-\

true. i thought they would. i really like when they stay true to form as much as possible. as to your other question what villian next? i would love bane! he is the only one who broke batman. cool graphic novel called broken bat that have other ones right behind it. great read. shows batman at his weakest and yet his strongest.

Bane would make sense, as to give the  movie a serious sense of dread for Bats.

Of course they'd have to abridge the story, so bats could make a comeback in the movie, cuz i dont see them putting Azrael(who took over for bats when his back was broke) in it.

I completely forgot about Bane. Not only is it a great idea, but it would give them (the Nolan Bros.) a chance to right the terrible wrong that was "Bane" in that horrible "Batman & Robin".  ::)

And, seeing someone else trying to be Bats (ala Azrael) would be interesting.

Hey Fenix, were you trying to get tickets to see the movie in IMAX? Maybe that's why it was sold out?  :-\

that joker was the most sick, sadistic, psycho person. that movie was so dark. i loved it. i agree best super-hero movie yet made. so far best movie i've seen regardless of genre. what bat questions do you have? i know a little something about it.

i co-sign that, the joker was off the hook... killings the craziness... i thought for a minute the movie was ending then all of a sudden BAM it went into over drive...!!!! i will see it again...

The Joker..  yea..  Hands down best supervillian ever.. up there with Hopkins & Sumara(the Ring...i'm still tripping when the cable goes out at home...lol)

the rumors are already flying... Jolie would be Catwoman...  This would work since the power of the cat can be transfered and blah blah.. if i'm correct....

Yea...
Halle Berry... as a actress... **adjusts collar**

Halle Berry... as eyecandy... **adjusts collar**

Dent is still alive.. no one dies in the comic books :)

Agreed to the part in bold.

Jolie as Catwoman works and works well; VERY well.

With that said, I don't think you can revolve an entire movie around that character, so we still a villain to drive the next movie.

I just saw the movie...and I was disappointed...

DISAPPOINTED THAT IT HAD TO END!!!!

GGFZ, that Movie was so many different shades of awesome. My brain is still spinning. It was incredible! From beginning to end...OUTSTANDING! Here are a few random thoughts I had about it.

- Heath Ledger as the joker was brilliant. I was expecting him to be all perky and loony like he's portrayed in the movie, but the sadistic tone they took worked very well. In fact, it almost worked TOO well. Watching Heath Ledger play that part THAT well was just sort of...spooky.

-I didn't see Batman Begins (Not a fan of origin movies) so I'm not sure if it was like that then, but I was not a fan of the way Batman talked. It just seemed so...fake. At first, I thought he did it just to disguise his voice, but then he began talking to Fox the same way, even though Fox knew who he was. Nothing major, though, just a small annoyance. Sounded like he had a cold during the entire movie.  :D

-Speaking of Luscious Fox...BRILLIANT! Role was played to perfection.

-I'm not buying Two-Face's death. He's going to come back sooner or later. However, he was quite awesome while he lasted. In fact, the entire Dent character was awesome. I wasn't too thrilled on HOW he became Two-Face (Burned by a fire that seemed to jump out of nowhere), but the rest was spot on, and it stayed true to the relationship Batman and Two-Face/Harvey Dent had in the comics.

-I found it funny how Heath Ledger was dressed as a woman at one point. I wonder what the Tyler Perry-bashers will think about that one.

There's probably a lot of other things I forgot to mention, but I'm still in awe. I was so amazed that I had to rush to books-a-million and pick up this:

.

I would say that this is one of the best Super-Hero movies of all time, but Batman is not a super-hero...

...He's a Dark Knight.  8)

I may have to see this movie, even though I am not even a fan.  We'll probably go during my family reunion.  Don't worry, I didn't read far enough to get any spoilers.

BOY, it's about time you got up in hea!!! Now:

I, too, HATE the voice thing and I'm hoping that they'll figure out a way to eliminate it!! And, yes, he speaks that way in the Batman Begins, as well; sadly.  ::)

I may have to look at that encyclopedia myself, chief.

Here's my question for ya, having seen the movie which graphic novel should I read? The Long Halloween or something that may give a clue as to who the next villain might be. I think a lot of us want to see Bane.

1. When they say essential, they mean it. Anything you could ever want to know about Batman is within those 400 pages. That villain that only appeared for like a nano-second in Issue #420...HE'S in there. Shoot, even Gotham City itself is in there!

2. Y'know, I'm honestly not sure which to read if you're trying to figure out the next villain. The movie took an entirely different approach from ANY of the ones I've read. The Long Halloween, is good, but I highly doubt the main villain in that one would be in the next film. He's not "mainstream" enough. I'd mainly recommend the Long Halloween, though, because it's the closest to the film. In fact, it's pretty much the film except with a different main villain and a different twist on how Dent became Two-Face. If you pick it up, though, also pick up "The Haunted Knight" which is it's sequel. THAT was awesome, as well. If you REALLY want the full experience, pick up "Catwoman: When in Rome" (I think that's the name) which is like a bridge between the two stories. It's not essential to the story, but it's a nice read nonetheless.

Another thing I forgot to add, did anyone see the preview for Watchmen? All I can say is, ooooooooohhhh snap. That one may be 2009's "Dark Knight".

I might see the Watchmen, but I don't know enough about it to get but so excited.

I AM excited about seeing the new James Bond film, though.
