Would you be so kind as to share some drawbar settings?
its not like that
the draw bar settings the teacher gave were tailor made for your playing style
your touch thw way you voiced your chords
I came to the clas using draw bar settings that were standard tried and true settings and he tweaked them and changed them for how I was playing
but I will share what he gave me for my style
this is for hymn or worship style music
left hand is playing the chord melody
so you have the melody in your pinky and the rest of your hand is voicing the chord
straight choir voicings like from a hymn book with some added sevents and ninths for color
the left hand is playing a support role usually playing very small two and three notes some times just one note following the right hand in a connected way
not quite liked locked hands style but similar
the draw bar setting was
60 008888800 I am not to sure about the pedal if that was all the way out but start at 6
this next setting was for a rag time effect
I am not to sure about the last stop the one to the far right
I dont know if that was pulled all the way out
or not
the pedal was played with the second draw bar instead of the first one purposely
this is what you would play the old oompah type style with
where your feet hit a one five type thing
and your left hand comps
the right hand will solo on
08 0888880004
or o8 0888880000
bear in mind these settings are specifically for how you play your touch the lenght of time you hold your hands down
if I go back next year he will probably give me new ones to match my style then
draw bar registrations is a very very very important study for an organist
here is a setting I was given by a visiting musician
880000000
this is for if you are accompaning a piano
I love this setting it is very warm and allwow you to do chording and just lead line single note stuff as well
