Some tips for playing in this key:

1.  Watch out for C# and F# - These 2 notes will be the most irritating notes to remember, especially the C# moreso than the F#.  This is what makes this key really awkward to play in.  You must consciously keep these 2 notes in mind while playing until they become natural.

2.  Using 4th finger - Whenever u have a chord that ends with a black note, try to use your 4th finger to play those notes.  This will help a lot with the scale degree chords ending with the F# and C#.  Not only will it help with playing the chords smoothly, it will also reimphasize the notes F# and C#.

These are awesome T..For a day I thought you were not going to post these "advanced" ones in D, which is what prompted me to do the 7-3-6-2-5-1 progression.

Keep up the amazing work man.

People, I know there are thousands of "nasty cats" reading this--please, please post your awesome progressions/ any theory stuff that you use for the key of D...

I know we're all relaxing coz we know T-Block will post at some point, but please guys, we don't want this to turn into a T-Block website :D
if so, then I propose a name: ..www.tblock_forums.com :-\ ;D

Some tips for playing in this key:

1.  Watch out for C# and F# - These 2 notes will be the most irritating notes to remember, especially the C# moreso than the F#.  This is what makes this key really awkward to play in.  You must consciously keep these 2 notes in mind while playing until they become natural.

:D You are funny T-Block. The key of D is easy for me. Like you know already I have trouble with the key of Db, Eb, Gb, and Ab.  :-[  :)
