I am a virgin to seafood. I mean when I was 4 I almost choked on a catfish bone and swore never to touch seafood BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT I am really anticipating the GUMBO.  So you know God has delivered me!

OH yeah, I had a fit when I was little when I had some fish with bones in it and since then my dad filets his fish PERFECT! I don't think I've ever come across a bone in any of the fish he has caught in over 10 years. I like to enjoy the fish with no stops...just dip and go like my chicken nuggets.

That would be Redd, hi-jacking her own thread.  But I'm glad I received that confirmation in the spirit that there will be gumbo, lol!

2k, I don't know what happened there, maybe I've been watching too much of the Olympics in Beijing or something, but when I saw that little three letter word for some reason it would not translate to the little chicken bird, lol.  My mind just couldn't process it, it looked foreign.  Maybe I need sleep.

I was at a tailgate in 2003 and the grill master said, "man, try this" and slapped a big 1/2" slab of grilled bologna onto my plate.  I was thinking it was gonna taste crazy.  I wound up going back for more( and I think more again).  Dat's some good eatin' righ' dere.  (excuse me while I wipe the drool from my keyboard)

Ok, I'm back.

I do the occasional skillet-fried bologna with the burnt edges.  Those are really the only two ways I will eat bologna.

I think 'White Castle' has been selling bologne sandwiches for about a year now but I have not tried it yet.  I think I will sometime this week though.

I can't stand any kind of bologna. We ate so much of it when we were kids that it wasn't even funny. :-X

My mom use to eat Mayo and tomatoe sammiches, lol. I thought that was so nasty without any meat.

I haven't eaten bologna in years but when I did, it had to be burned. Yes, burned not slightly blackend. Then I'd load it with mustard. That was some good eat'n.  I don't like bologna now.

I have been eating those almost daily as of late.  I put some fresh ground pepper on them and go to town.  They are quite delicious, as well as very satisfying.

I must have seen BBQ BOLOGNA on every menu of every BBQ place I ate in when I visited MEMPHIS.  I never understood it......figured it was just a local thing.  Definitely found it interesting.....lol.....not interesting enough to try.....but it caught my attention.

Well you just said the key word right there.  MEMPHIS.  That doggone entire city smells like BBQ sauce.
