I've always a BMW M3 also. Preferebly a convertible. In Red.

Oh, you meant a Hammond M3 :D

I've never played one, but I've played the m101. The M3 is considered better than the other spinets. It has waterfall keys as oposed to synth keys.

I wouldnt buy one because of the limited number of keys (44 per manual)and pedals. Other than that, its a great practice organ.

I had one,used it to play weddings,clubs,disco( 1 st time around)  !!!! had it hooked to a leslie.Today,imo  I'd pass-a $300 casio has a better sound,portable etc.It's a step towards a B3,maybe useful for parts-keys,vibrato unit,etc;but it's not all that practical.Mine was chopped;like a baby B,in the day it was useful.The stuff available today is WAYYYYYYY better.For example-you spend $300 on an M3,that's a good used clone or a 1/4 of a Nord electro.hope this helps;if you find one free-that's another story  good luck

What I would do is first pray and ask God where to find a good organ for practice. Based upon what you are talking about you must have limited space to house a organ. So my best recommendation is to find a M1. This is a pretty fair good practice organ for limited housing space. Personally I have a H195 hammond which has full pedal board and the keys you would see on regular organ and all drawbars too. Shop around on craigslist and also check out your thrift stores, sometimes they have some there.

They are ok for practicing in the home if u can't afford a full B3, C3 or A100.  I have one at my house but I prefer a full organ...here's an old vid of me on mine:

"He gave me nothing to lose, but all to gain"
