2) Hes the only keyboardist @ the church.what happens if they wanna go from heavy church to striaght worship...is he gonna run across the pulpit or altar (which are the only ways really to switch from piano to organ since the move)

I'm getting a visual. I don't mean to laugh, but that is pretty funny!!  :D :D :D

That situation sucks, but like everyone said. There is always a professional way for dude to handle it.

Agreed....he can still talk to the leaders of the church though....just because he wants to talk to them doesnt mean hes gotta come off mad

Correct but he wanted confront the pastor and threaten to leave

to answer your other questions

not everyone has the luxury of playing in the best situations but they make the best of it or the go somewhere else

A quick question:

Have you tried playing it with the set-up as is?

If so, what was wrong, in your opinion?

How did the congregation react/feel/like/dislike about the new set-up?

The problem with musicians, in my opinion, is that they feel it's all about them when it should be all about God and His people.

Music is there to enhance NOT distract.

Loud music = distraction (for some people)

Depending on the size of your church that some is relative.

1.yes i played with it like that the problem is its behind the drums and the guitar amp i cant hear it.

2.There isn't that big of a problem from what i saw but the most important person cant hear it.

3.First of all the bible says things need to be done decent and in order the musicians jobs is to minister with his/her craft thru song if your not comfortable in any way how can you minister has nothing to do with musicians thinking of themselves

4.Loud music = distraction because of an unbalance of the sections (choir and the music)because of improper placement and/or lack of equipment
