Not so fast my friend. The Jets, with the acquisition of Brett Favre, are now legitimate contenders for the playoffs; and, with the injury to one Mr. Tom Brady, they have a chance to win the AFC East.


The Buffalo Bills, then, have a chance to move into second place in the East. With the rest of the playoff teams coming from the other divisions, the Pats playoff run has a good chance of ending this season.

Of course, if Matt Cassel is the next Derek Anderson or *gasp* Tony Romo, then all bets are off.  ;) :)

Where did you guys see Tom Brady was out for the season?

If Matt Cassel is the next Tom Brady then expect something great to happen.  Remember, Tom got his start when Bledsoe went down!

And, allow me to say that the Patriots turning to Chris Simms and Tim Rattay for possible back-up spots is rather insulting considering you havean albeit disgruntledDaunte Culpepper one phone call away.  :-\
