It's easy to hand off to Maroney. However, trying to thread the needle between the double coverage that surrounds Moss is another issue all together. We'll see, though.
And, allow me to say that the Patriots turning to Chris Simms and Tim Rattay for possible back-up spots is rather insulting considering you havean albeit disgruntledDaunte Culpepper one phone call away.
i think cassel showed he can that with a really nice play to moss while he was backed up in their endzone
culpepper is washed up and i dont think Captain Moss would really want him around.
We'll see what happens against better teams that have prepared for Cassel. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see him do well (if for no other reason than I need to get his numbers for my fantasy teams). A 'washed up' Culpepper is STILL better than a Chris Simms AND Tim Rattay......COMBINED!!
I have to disagree, Rattay came out of a good school (49ers) and chris simms showed alot of promise with the bucs before his injury
You CAN'T be serious about Rattay? Who cares about what school he attended. He was a BUM. Chris Simms would've been booted without the injury; saying he showed promise is like saying Steve Walsh showed promise with the Cowboys. It. don't. matter.
what makes culpepper better than any of the two........without moss he showed he has no business in the nfl which is why he's not even a prospect for any team in the NFLRattay has performed well when given the nodSimms is actually on stand by for a few teams so enough GMs think well of him

On which team's short list is Simms? The Ravens for sure and i believe i saw somewhere K.C. wouldnt mind trying him out due to their loss at QBSince Culpepper will be reunited with Moss, there should be no problems there. moss doesnt want to work with culpepperWhen was Rattay given, 'the nod'? The 49ers, Bucs, and the Cards
Culpepper had a MVP type year in 2004. Moss only had 13%(49) of Culpepper's completion(379.) He did have 13 TDs but Dante threw 39. To say he's nothing w/o Randy is ridiculous...he has been hurt the last three years. People could say the same thing about Randy when he left for Oakland. He didn't have a QB and his production dropped(depending on who you ask.)
Another fact: Randy said this past off-season, if he didn't sign with NE, he would sign with a team that needed a QB so that Culpepper could come as a packaged deal.

I wonder why the media didnt promote this?but you can read in this article the same thing i read from before on how the moss/culpepper relationship was rocky
