I have not had a great passive Bass like this since my old Peavey T40.
I like it better without the pickguard.

I agree but I like the pickguard on that one. Not digging the exposed screw holes. Between the Laklands, the MTD's and Fenders, I don't think there are better passive basses.

Mr Tobias has sent me a pickguard for it. That is a very nice guy.
I made a trade with a fellow TB'er for the Heir 5.
Now I'm back to my old time Slap Bass.
No more "guitar" bass for me
I like the low end sound
