Well I just received the go ahead from my Attorney's.

So I need my LGM folks who have watched me post for about 18months now some progress on my album. Well it is ready for the first wave. A 4 song EP. But I want you to vote for which song will be the 1st radio release.

Yes- I am putting shout outs and plugs on the credits and thank you's to LGM.

Visit my page and cast a vote via a comment.

If you feel inclined send to your people on Myspace or where ever and ask them to vote ( that is extra only if you feel like it or the song blesses you)

This will be open for the next week and then we are off to duplication.
( you can also vote on the album art/ photo album on my page as well)
Thanks again LGM and pray for me.

That's some good music. I like them all. "Out There" is my favorite. I agree with Bass by Grace. The two he picked are more for the radio.

Good Job Man  :) I hope you go platinum...

Yo know God has blessed me already and I don't want to limit him but I am ok with just being in a position to write good music for other people. I don't really see myself as a singer or Artist my goal is to write for folks like Kim B, Byron Cage, Israel, Hillsong , Casting Crowns etc...

I think I am much stronger as a writer. Ther are some great singers out there who just need that great song to sing. You Know what I mean.

but whatever He does is fine by me. Thanks

I know you'll do well writing for other artist for sure. You know that's where the real $$$ is anyway as far as business is concern.
You got skills man. God has Big Things for you bro... I wish I had the guts to sing... BTW, your drummer is solid!

Thanks man. All the drums are samples but they have some killer ones now most people do think it is a drummer but it is my producer( who happens to be a drummer).

I closed my Myspaces pages down a while back so I will leave my review here.  First of all, I dig all of the songs.  "Will You Be Ready" is my favorite.  That groove is nasty(in a wonderful, spiritual way of course) and grabbed me right away.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I hear a strong Marvin Winans influence there.  If you want to be diffrent, I'd go with that one first.  BUT, "When I Think of You" is the one I think radio would gravitate towards be it the praise and worship vibe is really hot right now.  "Out There" would be a good second relaease as well.

But man, "Will You Be Ready" has got me dude.  That ending is nuts.  That one will be serious in a live setting.  I'm head-banging to that one.  I would blast that in the ride.

Looking forward to hearing the whole project.

You and my Manager are on the saem page She like "Will You Be Ready". I just wonder if that song will shoot me into one demographic and then I will be stuck there. The whole project is across the board which is they way I think most christians are; we like a littel bit of everything.

My Influences are

Daryl Coley
Marilyn Bergman
Marvin W
Bebe W
Michael McDonald
Bette Midler................................. ..........ok just kidding

We are pushing for the EP early 09 for at least regional distribution and then itunes & CD Baby late November. Thanks for the prayers

I can't listen until I get my laptop back (which I should have tonight or tomorrow), but I just wanted to congratulate you!!!

Based on everyone's comments here, it sounds like the Lord really blessed you with tremendous talent and a great project!  I can't wait to support!

Again, congratulations!

I think the "When I Think of You" would get you stuck moreso.  I'm sure people will like it, but you will get the automatic Israel or Kurt Carr  comparison.  I can see many choirs trying to do "Will You Be Ready" man.  That groove is the one. As long as you're coming with variety then there's no chance of getting stuck.  As soon as someone thinks they got you figured out, you'll hit 'em with something different.  The tracks on your page are proof of that.

When you've done your very best, do even better.

Unfortunately comparisons are a thing no songwriter can control. People just have to do that in Gospel mostly. I think that is the only way people validate other artist or new people God raises. They have to sound like somebody else. So what do you do....?

Will You be Ready a Choir song? Wow that is crazy I don't see it happening but who knows. Choir.... really. I wrote that song cause God was saying nobody is talking about my return anymore. Preachers are all about prosperity but holiness is still right. he also said youhave to communicate it in a way that these young men and women will hear and they don't listen to the guy on the corner yelling at them " Get your life together....hail, brimstone and fire etc..."

I think Majesty gets my vote.  I may change my mind though.   I thought all of the songs were hot, though.
