I must admit though, that I have a serious problem with keeping my hat on in restaurants. I don't know why but I don't even think about taking it off, it never even crosses my mind. also anywhere else I am other than church or a courtroom (cause they make you take 'em off) my hat stays on all day including work. lol Pray for me
When we were out to dinner, it bugged me so much... I was embarrassed and slightly perturbed. Finally, I got my window of opportunity when he started telling me a story, and I said:
I can't even see your eyes, dear... can you push your hat back so I can see your face? And he took it off, as I had hoped. *WIN*

Taking a hat off indoors should be automatic. The only place where I would think it might be okay is in a mall/store or in a sports arena or something like that. Otherwise, it should just come off automatically. *shrug*
You gotta do better, son!

Does it make a difference if they are at a church concert performing? Should they still have to take off their hat? I've seen quite a bit of this lately.
To me it doesn't make a difference, but I do realize that times are changing, so... really, this just comes down to social norms and norms do change, so...
