Sistagurl, coincidentally, Lisa (Monica) is a good friend of mine.  She was supposed to be singing at my Ordination service this weekend... it was supposed to be a surprise for TJ, who is also a fan.  But yeah, she's gonna be singing at Convocation and a few other gigs in Memphis.  The COGICs win again...  >:( >:( >:(

While I'm here (I see I missed a lot in this thread, lol), it's worth mentioning that my District Superintendent, who is also my FL's younger brother, will be the speaker on Wednesday night.  I'm going to try to watch between teaching bible study to cover for my Pastor who will be there.  His name is Supt. John Wynn if any of y'all happen to be there or happen to watch it.

I was gonna check with TJ or try to find the live stream online tonight.  I think it may be at cogic.org.  I know segments were aired on WORD last year.  Supt. Wynn has a show on WORD on Tuesday nights, anyway, so maybe he'll show his message on there in a couple weeks.

No, she won't be able to because the Ordination is 11/9 and she'll be at a church in Memphis.  :-\

I didn't realize he was unopposed!  That's probably why I haven't heard any drama dealing with this election.  That's good, that means we'll be unified.
