Hey, there's nothing wrong with a little passion!
I respect Loopy for standing his ground. I might totally disagree with him and he with me but I just want us to be clear about each other.
He thinks some things about me which are false and maybe I think the same about him.
I'd rather not.
I also think that trying to have a serious, SERIOUS discussion on the web about most everything can be fruitless since there's no eye contact and no facial expressions to go along with the words and supposed attitude.
It's my guess that Loop and I probably agree on more than we disagree, but this being just before election day and each of us having our favorites...it's hard to see that other stuff.
Here. Here's more smileys...

OK I know I said I was done with the conversation, but I guess I'll do like Obama did with public financing and CHANGE MY MIND!

Dave I agree with you on this post. This is a monumental election season and passions run high. You are correct that we probably have notions about each other that don't pass the laugh test, and not having the benefit of face-to-face conversation exacerbates the problem.
I'd be willing to bet money that we agree on more than we disagree. With the election, I guess we'll just agree to disagree (and we'll probably disagree some more). It's cool though. I know I can be confrontational at times (especially in my old age)! But I really am a big ole softy. I'm quick to bury a hatchet. So Dave, if anything I said insulted you in any way while I was trying to make a sarcastic point, I apologize.
BTW, right back at ya, bro.
