Mark Bass...
« on: October 13, 2008, 05:16:52 PM »
Hey guys just wondering if any of you have or ever played on a Mark Bass setup.  I'm wondering what your feelings are about this Brand.  I'm still new to the Bass =)  Anyways, I had a privilege on playing some Mark Bass equipment when I went and played for a sectional concert.  From the first note I played I fell in love with this setup.  2 10's 500 watts!  But then again, I play on GK Backline stuff. lol.  I haven't seen many topics on MB on the forum so just thought I'd throw it out there and see your opinions.

I love the Markbass heads, but don't to much care for their cabs.

I have the Little Mark II head separate that is the same as in the 210 combo.  I really dig the amp.  Haven't had a chance to play any of the cabs yet, but hear good things about them.  Love the head I have.

Love my F1.  Lots of power in a teeny weeny package.  Sometimes I can just toss the F1, a power cord and a an output cord in my gigbag and travel light to a rehearsal or a gig.  Can't beat that with a stick.

Peace,

James

Ah nice, didn't realize you all used them.  That was my thoughts exactly, for being as small as they are, they can sure push some serious power.

I heard someone playing reggae in a bar with a markbass 10", it filled the room a good solid bass tone.
