My favorite post in that thread was when I said on PAGE 1 "this is my last post in this thread".... :D :D :D I think it continued on like 15 pages and I was in err'one of em. :D

RANT: Why do engineers who know quicker ways of doing tasks love to make you do it the hard way first?! I could have done this task in a day and it took me two weeks!!!

Well think about it this way, Gibbers. You have probably learned a whole lot just by doing that stuff in 2 weeks. All in all, you are a better engineer for it.

That would be true if that was the ONLY thing I had to do...and this task is affecting my schedule on other projects.  Not a smart move on management's part IMO
