Ain't that tha truth they will swear up and don't that "this music ain't sanctified and don't bring the world into the church " however if you look at the chords and runs of traditional gospel it's str8 blues. But they  will turn around and (I quote)say well this is diffrent!! hypocrites!!!  That's why i'm struggling right now with deciding to go back and play secular music. There is be more freedom for creativity as long as i play in pocket without having to listen to non-musical / artistic people in control articulating to me how and what to play with no idea of what their talking about. (sorry i have been struggling with this for a while. I have been recently told by the college minstry pastor and MD that i cannot use my acoustic PDP FS birch set but i have use their old Yahmaha DTXepress 1 with an acoustic snare and cymbals. So they can control my sound (even though they have constant sound balance issues), even though they crank the system up. (it's not a small church). I think there reasons are busted and i need your prayers that i stay faithful. I hate stupidity

That was so HOTTTT!!!! Me and my brother play music like that at my church, usually after shout music.... It's all about the spirit in which the music is played..... Real recognize real, so if your worship is real and sincere, then other people who are real with God will connect with you...

I once played R. Kelly's "Happy People" for offering a couple of years ago, and the response was amazing... People's spirits were lifted, people praising God, and they were more receptive of the Word of God....

It's not always about what you do, but the SPIRIT in which you do it... God's Spirit will not cause you to sin or do anything contrary to his word, so stay connected to God and be blessed!!!

well i learned this a while back that in order to get real close to God you got to stop lying to yourself and be first honest with yourself then and only then you can be honest God. When that happens you can find that life becomes a little easier and you can forgive all the idiots that come your way.
