Do you have any idea how much I've had to explain this very thing to my wife> lol
Main axe - Peavey Wolfgang - coil-tapped, with D-tuna, so I can do my dropped D, but use my floyd (which I rarely touch lol). Has a good single coil tone, and is like a Bright LP with the HB's.
LP copy beater - has cheap-o hardware for now, plywood construction (it's a Series 10),it is the one that gets played when I only have a few minutes to grab a guitar and noodle. Hangs in the "cave" (TV room).
Dean acous. - Also hangs in the cave. My only steel-string acoustic. I ave a resonator for slide that I bring out on occasion
Tele - Am std with a SD lil' '59 in the bridge (tapped also). When I need spank, pop, twang, or a good bluesy neck pickup.
Dean Evo - set up for slide. Has all the hardware I used to have on the beater (A carvin C22 neck, and a M22SD bridge). The beater used to be my slide guitar.
Rogue 4 str. bass - sits by the computer, I slap and pop waiting on websites to load. I have high-speed, I'm just that impatient lol.
Kimberly (that's actually the brand name) - stays in the case. Remember the Teisco Del Ray's? It's basically that. Before I knew what it was, I hacked it up to put a HB in the bridge. Oops... only worth about $200, but it's the principle... Neck is warped like a monkey, learned slide on this thing (there's a pic at my myspace, if you're interested--it's a nifty looking guitar).
I think that's it. So, 6 of the 8 actually get played regularly.
When I was playing out, I would take the slide guitar, the Tele, and the Wolf.
In church, I would take the Wolf usually, and bring the slide as well, occasionally.
Man... I talk way too much...
