Finally got a real board

Man i've been looking for a board with wieghted keys and guess what yall i found one on craigslist. I got a roland RD700 for $450 in perfect condition with stand, pedal and manual. Man you talk about someone that was happy.I've Been looking for something in my budget and the Lord open the door. So if your looking for a board in your price range "wait on God" he will hook you up. Just wanted to share with yall what God has done.

That's great! You going to love it. I have the SX version and it one of my favorite boards to play with. Wish it wasn't so heavy LOL!

Thanks yall. I really love it. I do have one questions. What's the best way to get more sound added to what i have. What do i need to buy?

Sound modules or even expansion boards compatible with your board.

Thanks. Man, i need to share something with you guys. I always wanted a board like a motif or even a yamaha MO but couldn't afford to get one. So the Lord bless me with this Roland RD700. I really like the piano sounds. So, here's the story. I got a good keyboard and i'm happy with it. I asked how to get more sound( as you have read) to play on it because the RD doesn't have alot of sounds (in my opinion). So i was looking on CRAIGSLIST once again and guess what i saw. A yamaha MO8 in mint condion with case that has wheels and the three manuals that comes with it. "WAIT FOR IT" BAM...for $750 WOOOOOOOOOOOOW. So, being that i wanted more sound i put my RD700 up for sale on CRAIGSLIST for $750 and got some buyers. So in a nut shell, i have the MO8 in my livingroom NOW. THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!! Man what a trade.

I got mine off Ebay, but Craigslist is a great source too. Could also look in local pawnshops, I've heard of people getting great deals there.

i got my motif from the guitar center, but i have seen them on craigslist and ebay for cheap. i got the motif es which is selling real good right now because the motif XS is now the flagship keyboard for Yamaha. so shop around before u buy
