I don't have anything as of now on my end. It's such a new product; maybe Dennis Chambers may have a recent audio clip online. I'll do some research...

Ya know i just remembered i saw something like this today in AMR music today when i went to get some moongel.It was white though..

He's referring to the Holz product, BEATBOXERZ. brothab, Holz and the Kickport are two totally different products. The only similarity is the external appearance, but only at a distance, as both surrounds the port hold of a bass drum resonant head.

Based on my observation, the Kickport operates similarly to a ported speakerbox (read: subwoofer). The Holz product simply protects the resonant hole, as sound technicians constantly places microphones inside of the bass drum - often times something (cables or the microphone itself) snags against the resonant head, which damages (read: tears) it.

Exactly... It mimics speaker cone kinda.
