The piano sounds are kinda horrible. I'm still trying to figure out how to connect my roland XP to my Mo6 via midi, so that I can have a decent piano sound.

The organ sounds are pretty good. They are missing a few sounds from the ES8. They also dont sound as phat as they do on the tritons, but I like the way you can use the sliders as drawbars on the "fully" patch. And I'm lovin that "swishie" organ patch, its just so soulful and perfect for that west coast sound. I got mine for $650 on craigslist, well worth the price.

If you plan on layering and what not, then get the ES6, the mo6 has too little polyphony to do anything too demanding.

MO6 ain't that bad.  I play it at church and I have a Triton Extreme and a ES Rack with a 76 key Yamaha NP-30 for the midi.  The MO6 is pretty good.  Not a lot of sounds though but then again how many are you really going to use anyways.  Get a rack and a Nice midi and you will spend less than buying a new MO6.

the mo6 is sweet i have the motif es, and i play a motif es 6 on the bottom and a korg x3 on the top, i use midi to play them together, To Under 13: i go midi out of the motif es on the bottom into midi in on the korg x3 on the top, that allows me to play both keyboards a the same time, i use it every sunday. When i go to a church that has a 88 key keyboard, i use the midi and play the my motif through the 88 key keyboard.

I though I was the only one who still had an X3, glad to know someone else still uses one.

Right now I looking for a es6 or the mo6, been checking craiglist but no luck as of yet.
