Sorry, Big and Rob, LOL!!! I knew his name was descriptive, lol.

Ummmmm.... sis, I think it's time for you to take a break. LOL.

Step away from the keyboard.  That's it.  Nice and slow... Now inhale.

Un huh.

Now exhale.

Now go get some water and some fresh air.  :D

Ya'll go lookin' in your TV Guide or somethin'?  :D

Ness, half the shows you mentioned are OFF the air. Although, I did forget about Det. Daniels on 'The Closer' (which I just love, btw).

Teej, this list is strictly for those actors who have major roles....black terrorists don't count because Jack kills them befo' the hour's ova.  :D

I JUST remember Dennis Haysbert from the next greatest show on television today, THE UNIT!!  8)

No, I just started thinkin' about shows I watch.  Which ones are off the air?  That could well be, because a lot of the TV I watch is not prime time, I catch quite a few shows in reruns on cable.

But I know Zack and Cody are still around, and the Simpson's LOL (not that animated black people count).

And what's wrong with Rob and Big?  LOL!

Now, hold up...the dudes on Baldwin Hills play a pretty major role...and it's Reality TV, so you KNOW they gotta be acting.

The Simpson's have Dr. Hibbard (or something), and Homer's co-worker...

Futurerama has Hermes and Family Guy has Cleveland.  Cleveland was about to get his own show but that fell flat.

I don't watch alot of TV because of the shortage of  Black men & women. Yeah, you will find some brothas or sistas on a white show or a black comedy. The last good drama on TV with an all black cast was "City of Angels", now that was an excellent TV show, but it only lasted I think about two episodes. I couldn't even sit down & watch a TV show with an all white cast. David allen Greir's TV show was definetly over the top, but it was pretty funny, but DL Hughly is not politicly savvy enough to have that type of show.  But in all, Thats "pretty sad" when you can list the names of the Black men on TV.

Let's just say that it's interesting that some of us can't seem to keep things going while people like the Jacka**/Wildboyz crew and shows with much less social value thrive.  As for those "reality" shows, the only thing real is the actual people.

I'm also a little perturbed by the representation of Black men on soap operas.  On Y&R, outside of Neil Winters, every other Black man they show is either in law enforcement or some kind of civil service.  So I guess Neil is the only Black man in Genoa City with some money.  Funny thing is his family is still jacked up.  His own daughter is jumping from (White)man to man.  Aint no brothers she can date?  I've stopped watching it because that whole town is stupid.

Donald Faison (Turk on "Scrubs")

....

Scrubs has moved from NBC to ABC with new episodes.  Apparently all the while it was on NBC, it was being produced by and filmed at ABC, so when NBC dropped it, they kept it.

Ummm, Ness.  For real?  :-\ ?/? :o

I'm surprised at you. You usually keep up with that kinda stuff more than I do.  Angela Bassett and Courtney Vance have been married for years now.  They recently had twins (I think about two years ago).  Well, I think they adopted them, but still... it made the news. LOL

They do interviews together, were on Oprah together, do the red carpet together...

They are caught by the paparazzi in an airport with not make up on together.   ::)

Yep, they're pretty much inseparable.
