My wife just reminded me about Courtney B. Vance (and yea, Ness, I'm a bit disappointed  :()

Also forgot the newest member of the original CSI, Lawrence Fishbourne.

And, forgot the other Black guy on The Closer, Robert Gossett (Louis Gossett Jr.'s first cousin).

There are also the chefs: Chef Jeff and Aaron MacGruder and Mr. Neeley.

Well notice they only show Aaron when Black folks are usually at church, and there's no rerun either.

I can't for the life of me think of why you would have a problem with that, lol.  Many black men for the longest have been telling us that we're too this, and too that, and that's why they prefer white girls.  I say what's good for the goose... LOL

Note: I haven't read the rest of this thread....but I don't think B3W had a problem...an observation was being made. This has been addressed in other web sites(hair sites) I visit. You really don't see BW/WM couples and much as WW/BM couples.

I think she was only kidding.  Well, I don't know if she was kidding, but I don't think she meant "problem" in the serious sense of the word.  We followed those comments with a very lighthearted discussion about interracial dating. It's all good.  ;)

He was the DA on L&W: Criminal Intent, but I thought he ended that role a couple years ago.  Definitely by the time it moved to cable.

Forgot about him. And I watch that!

Grey's Anatomy had Isaiah Washington. He was kicked off.
But they still have a black Chief doctor.

In case you didn't know!

So, my friend and I were listening to Cybil Wilkes (from The Tom Joyner Morning Show) and heard about D.L. Hugley and David Allen Grier being out of a job (with CNN and Comedy Central, respectively).

Cybil went on to say that a writer from the Baltimore Sun wrote about how this was a big deal. Yada, yada, yada, it got us to thinking, 'How many Black men ARE there on television, now?'

We came up with 15 that we either watch or about which we know.  :o :(

Hill Harper (CSI: NY)

Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds)

Alimi Ballard (Numb3rs)

Allan Louis (Privileged)

Tristan Wilds (90210)

James Pickens, Jr. (Grey's Anatomy)
Taye Diggs (Private Practice)

Mario Van Peeples (Damages)

Clarke Peters (Damages)

The Men of 'House of Payne (6 brothas with at least 20 episodes)

So, I ask, LGM family,

a. Is there a cause for concern?

b. Can you think of any brothas we have missed to add to this list?
