I wouldnt make a big deal out of it. Stay home that week. Spend time with the fam. Take your kid to Chucky Cheese (or Chucky Kangaroo, or whatever yall have in New Zealand)
As for leaving the church, that wouldnt be my first resort, but I dont see the point in staying somewhere where you have a totally different opinion in such a major part of the church.
UM lol.. i'm not saying where u live is wrong but have you ever thought about moving to the states? iknow our economy is jacked up right now but most PAW's from where i'm from they are very liberal and these cats can play too....
