Hello all
« on: September 23, 2003, 02:15:41 PM »
Hi all  :D ,

I am new to this site.  I like the way you all are sharing yoru views.  I sing with two choirs in my church.  One is called Total Praise and the other one is the Congregationial singers.    My girlfriend also sings solos a lot.  My hope is that I can learn to play some background music to some of the congregational songs we sing.  Also some of the songs that Total Praise sings is all on CD.  I am hoping ot learn to play some fo them by Ear and just give the Service a more live feeling of Praising God.

The way the songs are written in our Hymn books are 4 part Harmony.  Can anyone give me some ideas of what I can start doing to learn to put some nice background to that music so we don't have to sing everything accappella.  (Hope I spelled that correct)  Any replies would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks and God Bless you all.
