Sunday School Teacher Suspected in Death of 8-Year-Old

Bear in mind that her arrest is based on "probable cause", but this is very disturbing to say the least.

They had to say "Sunday" school teacher. Makes the world look at the church and laugh.

agreed...it always gets to me how people take the worst case possible to make a mockery out of the church...it is very sad... >:(

We have to be so careful.  Everybody deserves a chance in ministry, but this makes me wary of who you can place over the children.

She may have tried to use that as her defense.  I could easily hear her say "I didn't do it, I'm a Sunday School teacher."  Of course the media would take it and run.

Yeah, but more than laughing, it adds to the shock value of the case.  Most people wouldn't expect a person who is involed in church to commit such a brutal crime.  Sunday school teachers, pastors, etc. are sort of seen as "safe" people.
