Wow! That's a nice line-up... Here's a question that's always interest me. How do you make yourself use them all? They seem like they all give great tonal range, so do you have a rotation?
LOL!
It just depends on what gets placed on my spirit in a given week. I can say that the white one is my "Travel Bass" ... I usually take that one when we visit other churches, just to kinda "Market" our Church (Mt. Olivet MB Church in St. Paul, MN).
The Bongo is the one that is probably the most aggressive but it is also the most versatile. The pre is voiced in a way that cuts through ANYTHING. The most dense mix, the most weird accoustics, the most awful sound system, that Bongo can handle it. It is my "Go To" axe.
The red Lakland actually is not stock -- it has an LH3 preamp and MTD Z-Bass pickups ... it has a very distinctive tone and I play it when I want something a little different.
The JO5 is like a consistent standby -- plain ole J-Bass.
If I had to condense down to only one, it would be the Bongo.
If I had to consense down to any two, it would be the Bongo and the MTD.
